Dear Jacksonville: A Love Letter, 21 Years in the Making For 21 years, News4JAX morning show anchor Melanie Lawson has shared Jacksonville's stories. Along the way, the city shaped her own. On her 50th birthday, Melanie takes the stage at the Ritz Theatre and Museum to tell that story through laughter, music, dance and local talent. From the 29-year-old who arrived for a job to the woman who found a home, a family and a purpose here, Dear Jacksonville is a celebration of the people and moments that made her. Join Melanie for a birthday celebration honoring the city she loves. A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit Empowerment Resources, Inc.
