About this event
Pianist and composer Ehud Asherie, an artist inspired by diverse eras and mingling traditions, has cultivated a unique sound both on the bandstand and in the studio. With a deep commitment to spontaneity, Asherie captivates listeners as he and his quartet navigate syncopated phrases and evolving harmonic landscapes. Lauded as , "rdquo" -> a master of swing and stride" by The New Yorker, Asherie will present a mix of original works and beloved compositions, joined by frequent collaborators and New York jazz legends, John Webber on Bass and Kenny Washington on Drums. This performance promises to be a journey through the vibrant tapestry of jazz, guided by Asherie's distinct musical voice. Ehud Asherie, Yasushi Nakamura, and Kush Abadey
