About this event
A small-time gambler arrives in a muddy mining town with plans to build an empire out of a saloon and a brothel. He finds a smarter business partner than he bargained for in Mrs. Miller. Scored with Leonard Cohen, Robert Altman kills any trace of Western gloss by shooting the frontier with a cold, quietly sad authenticity.
